Six platforms, one brief — and where the seams still are

Emil RandenFounder5 min read

One approved brief in MaaS can become live campaigns on six platforms: Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and TikTok. That sentence is true, and on its own it is the kind of sentence that gets a marketing team into trouble — because "supports six platforms" and "does everything on six platforms" are very different claims.

So here is the actual map.

What launches end-to-end

  • Google Ads — Search, Display, Shopping and Performance Max.
  • Meta — ads, plus organic Instagram posts.
  • YouTube — Video and Demand Gen, reusing the Google connection.
  • LinkedIn — campaigns, lead-generation forms and organic posts.
  • Snapchat — web-conversion campaigns.
  • TikTok — manual campaigns, plus Smart+ and GMV Max for TikTok Shop.

Where it stops short

  • Snapchat objectives other than web conversions save as a draft with a warning rather than launching.
  • Google campaign types outside the four above save as a draft.
  • TikTok's non-feed surfaces and catalog objectives are deferred.
  • Some Meta catalog and audience targeting needs fields the current setup does not collect. The UI says so rather than guessing.

And one that is switched off on purpose

ChatGPT Ads is connected for measurement only. We can read performance from it; the launch path throws. The adapter was written from documentation and has never been smoke-tested against a live account, and an ad-platform adapter that has not touched a real account is a way to spend someone else's money by accident. It stays off until we can verify it.

Why publish this at all

Two reasons. The first is practical: if you are evaluating MaaS for a specific channel and objective, you need to know before you commit, not after.

The second is that in this category the gaps are the useful information. Everyone's landing page says "multi-platform". Very few will tell you which objective silently degrades to a draft. We would rather be the ones that do — partly because it is the right thing, and partly because the list gets shorter every month and we would like you to watch it shrink.

Point it at your URL and see what it finds.

The first thing MaaS does is read your site and ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews whether they already cite you.

Accounts are reviewed and approved manually. No ad accounts needed to start, and nothing publishes without your approval.
