Cookie Policy
Last updated July 23, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar local-storage technologies used by the MaaS platform and by websites/landing pages published or connected through it, and how to control them.
Categories
- Strictly necessary. Required to operate the service — authentication and session cookies, security, and load management. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off through the consent controls.
- Analytics. Used to understand usage and measure performance. Set only after analytics consent is given.
- Marketing. Used for conversion tracking and ad-platform matching (e.g. click IDs such as fbclid/fbp, gclid, ttclid, scClickId). Set and forwarded only after marketing consent is given.
Consent mechanism
- The platform's cookie banner records the visitor's choice in browser localStorage under the key _consent_v1, storing boolean flags for analytics and marketing.
- Google Consent Mode v2 defaults to denied for the relevant consent signals until the visitor grants consent; granting consent updates the signals accordingly.
- Where Cookiebot is present on a connected site, the platform honors the Cookiebot consent state instead of showing its own banner.
- Do Not Track (DNT) is respected: when the browser sends a DNT signal, non-essential (analytics and marketing) technologies are treated as not consented.
- Non-essential cookies/identifiers are not set, and click IDs are not persisted or forwarded to ad platforms, unless the corresponding consent is present.
- Every consent decision — including a rejection — is recorded as an audit record so the choice can be demonstrated.
Withdrawing consent
- Reopen the cookie/consent controls on the site to change or withdraw your choices; updated preferences take effect for subsequent processing.
- You can clear the _consent_v1 entry in your browser's site storage to reset the banner and be prompted again.
- On sites using Cookiebot, use the Cookiebot controls to change consent.
- You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies may be required for the service to function.
